Gambiva Account Registration

Gambiva runs its account creation entirely in the browser. I had a working account in about six minutes on a laptop, then repeated the process on my phone. You enter your email, a password, your name, date of birth and home address, then click a confirmation link. ID checks come later, at your first withdrawal.

Gambiva registration has five steps, a UKGC licence behind it and no app download.

Opening An Account

You can join Gambiva from any device with a modern browser. I opened the site in Chrome on a laptop, then in Safari on an iPhone, and both showed the same form. The mobile layout resizes the fields without hiding any of them.

The Gambiva register button sits in the top right corner on desktop and moves into the menu on mobile. I missed it for a few seconds on my phone. The date of birth field is a plain text box with no calendar picker, so I mistyped the format once and had to retype it.

Eligibility Requirements

Four conditions apply before you can open an account. Gambiva holds a UKGC licence, so they follow UK rules.

  1. You are 18 or older
  2. You live in Great Britain
  3. Your details match your ID document
  4. You hold one account only

I entered my name exactly as it appears on my passport. A nickname or a shortened first name causes delays at the withdrawal stage, when Gambiva compares your account details with your documents.

How To Register

To sign up to Gambiva, work through these five steps.

  1. Open the Gambiva website and click Register
  2. Enter your email address and a password of at least eight characters
  3. Add your full name, date of birth, home address and postcode
  4. Tick the 18+ and terms box, then submit the form
  5. Open the confirmation email and click the link

My confirmation email reached my inbox in under a minute. I clicked the link, the account went live and I logged in straight away.

Identity Verification

Gambiva requests ID when you submit your first withdrawal. You need two documents.

  1. Photo ID, such as a passport or driving licence
  2. Proof of address dated within the last three months, such as a utility bill or bank statement

I uploaded a passport scan and a bank statement. Gambiva approved both in about four hours, and my withdrawal stayed pending until then. Upload the documents before you request money and you skip the wait.

First Login And Setup

Log in with the email address and password you chose during registration. The account area holds your settings, the cashier and your transaction history. I spent my first few minutes in the settings tab, where you change your password and review your personal details.

The cashier shows every balance in £ and offers no currency switch. On mobile it sits two taps deep in the menu, which slowed me down on my first visit.
